Clorox bleach was dumped on my hair about 10 years ago. Ever since I have been balding. Does clorox bleach permanantly ruin your hair and hair follicles? I went to a Dermatoligist and they said that since my scalp has no indication of scaring that the clorox bleach did not cause the baldness. I think otherwise. I still think the bleach had something to do with it.

OMG..who would do that? It's toxic and dangerous and you have no idea what color your hair will turn out..from bright orange to a dull green. The bleaching kit used in salons and in beauty supply store is not clorox but a hair dye. Clorox can damage a layer of skin on hands so in your hair it will strip at least the first layer of your scalp which can result in sores & scabs and strip your hair of color and moisture as well.

Your hair follicles have been damaged and it seems to be irreparable. You need to consult with a dermatologist for a topicle solution to stimulate growth cells or consider using hair extensions.

OMG! You need to see a dermatologist!! Only a specialist can diagnose if there is a problem or permanent damage.
