You will get a mixture of the two colors. More than likely it will become a pink because the burgundy is the darker of the two colors and the added color will lighten it. You would do better to choose one color or re-visit the beauty supply to select the color you want for sure. It's not worth the risk of ending up with a permanent color you hate. Try the strand test first of course but you don't want to waste your money either by opening up two boxes of color you'll never use.

1. You aren't supposed to mix two brands of hair color. The chemicals might react or something (or so it says on the boxes) and mess up your hair or change the color completely.
2. Burgundy and blonde dont mix right right together. Even if the chemicals didnt change anything, It would still probably be a gross color. Like someone said before me, Itll probably be pinkish.
And FYI, I have *very* thick, curly, mid-back length hair and I only need 1 bottle to dye it. Theres no reason to use 2 bottles unless its alot longer.

I have never tried mixing colors. I would suppose if it is the same brand of color it shouldnt hurt you as the toxins are the same. Strand testing would be good as well like you say. I have long hair with grays in it. When coloring grays it always shows lighter ..... Please consider that as well. And? Have you colored before? Always know that you choose a lighter color than you really are. They go on dark... Good luck as I would like to know how it went. Sometimes stuck in the same position.

Personally, I think its never good to mix colors especially when theyre different brands. I would also reccomend going to a stylist. Call around to see which one is the cheapest. I tried to dye my hair and instead of being light brown it was bleach blonde! Ever since then ive been going to a stylist. I have really long hair (to my elbows) and it only costs me about $40.
Hope this helped! :D

Do not hink it is wise to use two differnt brand produt together as they some times carry ingredients that might react to each other. especially when its some thing that you will be using on you body. Better to spend some money now than ending up with a doctor bill and pain or damages to your body.

you do not definitely might desire to apply genuine bleach on your hair. flow to the food market, p.c.. a advantageous auburn colour, and inspect the lower back of the field. discover your hair colour, and it will instruct you what result the dye might have on that colour. I definitely have darkish brown hair and dyed it vivid pink, and that i did not use bleach first. Your mom has reason to be stricken approximately you death your guy or woman hair, even nevertheless. A salon will do a extra sensible interest at removing the colour you have and changing it with a surprisingly auburn. i could risk-free up and flow to one.

Most likely if you mix them it would end up being a lighter reddish color. But I don't know how it would look. If you really want to dye your hair your best bet would be to go to a salon.
