Hair - February 2007

I'm looking for a really good hairspray to hold curls but keep them bouncy, a good conditioner or treatment for dry or damaged hair, and finally a good spray on or comb through treatment to protect you hair when using heated appliances.

Any suggestions?

okay i had red hair, with mostly blonde (from highlights) then i put brunette color glaze on it and it turned it murky green (yucky!) okay, i have washed it several times now, and it's just becoming a more faded murky green...what do i do?

i want my hair to look auburn but right now it is brown. my friend uses red expressions (she has red hair) and she says it brightens her hair and makes it more red. i would like to turn it auburn without actually dyeing my hair ..........

does iron protection spray work..? i have this stuff thats called sleek shine iron smoother. it claims to protect your hair from heat while straightening it. what i dont understand is how that spary can protect your hair from so much heat. does it really work or is it a fake ? if it's a fake, what can i do to really protect my hair from iron straightening??

I am new to california.I used a herbal shampoo in india that worked really well for me it kept my hair soft and hair fall a bit in control as well .But here it seems the water is very hard and its colder out here so the hair has become very dryCan you suggest me some good and inexpensive brands of shampoo and conditioners preferably herbal ones .

Ive seen on TV that some people use heated rollers and they seem to give their hair good volume of which mine lacks, they also look like they give you a good style, is this right and would you recomend buying them? thanks.

I bathe daily but whenever I am in the sunlight, my hair and body smell as if they are burnt. I hate this smell. And, When I had my hair cut from salon they washed 'em as well. That day they smelled great throughout( maybe because i didnt go in the sunlight). But when I wash my hair, they never smel good although I use the same shampoo she did. Is this because I go out with my hair still wet. I don't dry 'em with a hair dryer nor do I straighten 'em very often. I treid hair fragrance, but it did nothing but making it even worse. What should I do?

i have Naturally Redish-Brown hair and I dyed my hair Black in hopes of it causing a Brown effect cause of my natural hair. Ive never dyed my hair before.. Only with Semi Permanent No Ammonia Dyes. Now i have garnier Belle Color Soft Black in it.

I Want meduim brown... If i were to put blondissima in it will it work and how soon can after can I Dye it with another Drug Store Dye?

I have very thin relaxed hair and no it hasn't been colored, Its annoying because I can't do much to my hair at all. I just slick it back in a ponytail, I have medium length hair that I'm trying to grow out. I've tried layers that doesn't work and I also get trims every six weeks IT STILL DOESN'T WORK. also i bought this new organic shampoo and it rly drys my hair out in the shower i have to keep using more becuase it doesnt scrub and gett all bubbly but shoud i keep using it it smells rly good!!

my hair is about 18to20 inches long!! and i want to try and curl it, but i dont no how i try and do it with ghd's but just dont curl, dont think im doing it right either! , i try with normal curlers , but doesn't turn out nice, you know when you go to the hairdress and they curl all your hair lovely i want it like that but cant afford 20 quid each time i want it done!! plssssss help thank you! much apreciated! xxxx
