Oh, pooh bah! What a nuisance. I guess unless you have a job offer from someone who does not mind the color, I'd just run something like a dark red henna-based dye or something that is not too vicious, that will tone it down ... otherwise, if you decide to go back to brown, why not choose a chestnut color ... that might be pretty on you ... and buy a couple of beautiful outfits that look super-special with your new color ...

I had my hair dyed that same type of pink but I didn't dye my whole hair that color. Instead I had chunky high lights in pink and the rest of my hair was black. At first my boss wasn't too thrilled because I had this stuffy office job. But he never actually told me I couldn't have my hair that way so I kept it. Eventually everyone got used to it and they saw that just because my hair was a bit too wild for them, it had nothing to do with the type of person I was at work and never effected my professionalism. Your hair is going to draw a lot of attention to it but I guess it all depends on the type of job you have and how closely you work with the public. If your boss really can't stand it and demands you to dye it then consider looking for a place that allows you to express yourself in the way you want.

While I'm all for self-expression, this is a bit over the top. And most employers have certain dress codes and this may not fit in.
Regardless of how progressive the work environment has become, I think you may have a difficult time finding another job with your appearance as it is. So I would recommend being a little less avant guarde.

i mean if your boss doesn't like the hair color i think you should dye it back to brown if you like the job a lot and if you need the money but if you don't love the job or have enough money hit the road who needs to be in the position you are in

I should apply in your company, because I am that kind of person that I can not decide on how to groom myself, how to dress, what kind of make up to put on,should I color my hair in blond .. I am a pilipina to pass for a white girl? If were you I will ask my boss what kind of color he/she like for my hair. If you decide to hit the road, please pass in the back alley, people might mistake you for UFO. A very beautiful female thing from another planet...

The hair colour ROCKS!
However, it depends what kind of job you do. When (s)he's got a moment, ask him/her whther it's possible for you to carry on working with your hair as is. If so, then keep youself dressed professionally. If not, then I'd wear a "natural-coloured" wig on top if it's practical. Otherwise, dye it or leave.....

It depends on your job. Are you expected to interact with clients/customers and present a professional appearance? If so, you should have a more traditional hair color like brown, blonde, etc.
