an old guy to have long hair, like he's trying to recapture lost youth?

I'm trying to decide whether to regrow my hair or not. It's short right now.

There are pics of it long, and short, on my 360.

I got my head shaved last month and my girlfriend loved the smoothness of my dome so much that she keeps nagging me to keep it smooth.I am getting my head shaved smooth every week at a barber shop.

When I get it shaved she just cant keep her hands away from my smooth head.I too have been enjoying the feel of her hand over my clean head.

The only problem is I am not comfortable getting it shaved at the barber shop every week.So I want to shave it myself at home. How difficult is it to shave at home.

Also should I shave my head daily or weekly once? Will a daily shave become so routine that her love for my smooth head diminish?I dont want this to happen.

Please advice.

I've found some Nutrisse lying around in the bathroom, it seems to be one of those "Do-it-yourself" hair colouring products for women, but is it able to be used by men? I mean logically men and women's hair is the same, so the answer should be yes, but I'm not sure, has any guy used something similar (aimed at women) before?

I went to a hairdressers yesterday evening to get my hair coloured. After the colour went on, I noticed that it was burning my scalp, so I called the hairdresser back. She asked me to leave it on for 5 more mins and then they washed it off. When I sat back down I noticed that my scalp was all red. I made a little bit of a fuss about it but the salon owner was trying to make out that it wasn't their fault and they tried to charge me full price. I argued and they gave me a small reduction. My scalp is still sore today. Should I have been charged at all? I'd appreciate some advice.

I have already had help with my clothing and make-up, now I need advice on a hairstyle. I am a transgender girl that is going to live full-time. My hair right now is shoulder length, very thick and straight. I have a round face (not fat, just round shaped) and was wondering what hairstyles would look best on me?

I have curly hair, and because it is quite heavy it can pull straighter near the roots.I do have some layers chopped in for extra volume, but who has some handy hints and tips to make the most of my curly hair, to keep the curls tight and to stop it going flat? (i do use hair mousse too, before anyone suggests it!)

I've suffered hair lost since the age of 13 after a perm. Eversince them I've had scanty hair. I've tried all kinds of products in the last 25 years. Didn't work. I've got my scalp examine yesterday, I was told that it was healthy. However I have quite a few pores that has been closed up by skin. And each pore has only one strand of hair as the pores have gotten tight. Many haircare shops would say they can help but it cost a lot of money and Im too skeptical to believe after all these years of trying product. Do you think it is possible to open up my pores? Is there any remedy that wouldn't cost me thousands? Please help...

I have already dyed my hair with semi-permanents in this color and know that this is the one I want, now I just need to find it. I know most people will just recommend I go to hair salon but I like trying these thing on my own, I've been dying and cuting people's hair including my own for a while now and I just seem to have a better luck and understanding when I try it on my own, and I have done some pretty complicated dye jobs. I'm looking for a bright red probably closer to orange then anything else Here are some of my inspirations Wynonna Judd, Reba Mcentire, Angelica Bridges, kari byron, april Macie. This shade isn't common so I doubt I'll find it in a box, but If anyone is willing to give me advice on mixing and creating colors that would be really helpful. I'm cautious with my coloring and use of chemicals and I will test it multiple times before I do something stupid and cover my whole head. But I am relaxed enough to take some unconvential advice. So any suggestions..

I have dry hair and while I was conditioning it in the shower tonight I mixed in some vaseline because I thought it would give extra conditioning. My hair doesn't feel greasy or strange, but I read on the Internet a few moments ago that vaseline can damage hair. I don't think that very much vaseline was absorbed, but I am still worried. Does anyone know about this? Should I do anything else to my hair to try to get the vaseline out?
