FOr a reasonable price (£100ish)
I was considering going with the stable GHD but I was wondering if anyone thinks there is anything better?

GHD's for definite! i never used straighteners before and my mate recommended them to me. before getting them i couldnt understand all the fuss, but seriously they are amazing! just don't do what one of my mates did after getting out the shower, put them on, laid them on her bed and then sat on them, not nice getting burnt by 200 and odd degree heat! Ouchhhh!!

Swear by GHD - got mine on ebay for about £90. I've tried other brands but would never use anything else now.

hi i am hairdresser and we dont use ghds in salon we use euro star ones from whole salers but i personally use ghds and swear they are better than our salon ones my boss wont change tho i highly reccommeng u dont use the wet dry ones tho they do more damage to ur hair and it ends up looking like kate bushes after a while happy shopping

GHD's are the best by far, go to www.HQhair.com and get them for around £80, that's where I got mine.

Id steer clear of GHD as I saw a programme about them over heating and starting fires even though they were switched off.

I would recommend 'Coraliss' hairstraighteners. They are about sixty five pounds and are available on line or in Debenhams

NOT GHD's as they blow up (not literally) and break to easily.. i know someone that had to replace hers 3 times!! and they are quite dangerous..
I think FHI straighteners are.. they come in pink too :) only £50 !!!
