ok my hair is so annoying. its long, straight, layered and dirty blonde. it is always messy and i cant think of a way to keep it all straight and not tangly. i brush it all the time and wash it all the time. why does it do this? its always frizzy and staticy. i think it looks pretty, cept when its down for a long time. it really botheres me i want to get it cut somewhat shorter because what is the point of long hair if it is always in a stupid pony tail. it only gets in the way. yeah its gonna be a little past shoulder length. waht do you all think i should do. is there a special shampoo that you use taht works great?

I use a ceramic iron, but it takes a really long time to get my hair straight and once its straight it tends to return to it's curly self as the day goes on. Any tips to get it straight and keep it that way? What about chemical straightening?

As in, would it damage anymore than any normal dye would? I was thinking about trying it. You know with putting peroxide in your hair and using a flat iron on it. I'm just wondering, if do it then I'm going to test it on an unnoticeable part of course but I'm just wondering.

Hi , I recently turned 16 and I'm starting to think that I need a makeover, a complete change and I wanna start with my hair which I have always found dull. It's long, brown and straight. I have bangs but they never stay the way I want them to. Here are a couple of pics of me : http://www.flickr.com/photos/toxicwashere/sets/72157594346444404/
My eyes are brown (almost black) Any suggestions?

My friend has suggested that i should experiment with mohawk and Halo setting patterns but my mum has suggested that i should try to stagger the rollers in a brick laying pattern to encourage the curls in my hair to look more natural
Please can I have some feed back from you

Yes, we all know that we as black women like to wear weaves and wigs to enhance the length of our hair, have a quick and easy hairstyle, and to let our hair rest from chemical treatments, but I have been noticing that white women are getting into the trend also. I think they look nice on both, but why does it seem like it's the brunt of jokes and put downs when the black women wear them, but when the white women wear them there's barely any comments. Does it seem more okay for the white women to wear them than the blacks? Why is it viewed as such a bad thing if their worn? I just don't understand the difference.

Is it possible to have highlights and lowlights put in your hair at the same time? How do they do it?

Also, do they always do caps on guys hair or do they use foils sometimes too?
