Just about anywhere, but, you should go to a salon and get a good quality one. The things to remember are1) to buy them with porcelain plates 2) Use anti frizz hair products prior to crimping. 3) Hair should be dry!! 4) Don't keep it on the iron too long. If you feel it's hot, remove it...and if it's steaming well. TURN IT OFF! lol
Either your hair wasn't dry or you fried it:P
Um.. if its already fluffy, just straighten it and make it silky smoothe:-x Well, that's what I would do. :)
Good luck!

They are sold at your nearest walmart or target...if you have a beauty supply store near you that is the best place to go...like sally's beauty supply (stores are in a lot of cities) If you have thick hair then crimping is tricky,,,try it out before you go to the party....ask a few friends, even brothers (they are always honest if you look stupid!) and if you don't think it feels good on you then wash it out and put it up in velcro rollers or something fun!!!

most large store like target etc have them. it will make your hair a little puffy. you could always just straighten your hair all over and just crimp the top layer so that it looks crimped, but isn't as puffy. because it makes each bit if hair "wriggly-shaped" (????) they don't sit flat and the hair tends to look a bit puffy. you can always test out both ways before you go. don't forget to use some kind of styling product to protect your hair from the heat styling.
Seeing as its a party you can always go all out, crimp it all and go for a massive look on your hair.

I have very thick hair and tons of it, i used to crimp mine and it was real pretty. Try doing it at home first and see what you think. I got mine at walmart and there not expensive. have fun!

Wal mart or Sally's Beauty supply

you can get them at any department store.
if your hair is thick and heavy, simply crimp the layer that is showing - it gives the illusion you want without the volume

Go to a Kohl's Department Store, if you have one near-by. They sell all sorts of excellent devices that you might be able to use in styling your hair. Otherwise, I would recommend your local Rite Aid, CVS, or other drug store. Good luck!

Go to Wal-mart and buy a crimper. A beauty supply store would have a more expensive one but my advice would be just to get one from wal-mart.

Sally's Beauty supply or try on Ebay, they sell everything usually for less.

if you have a lot of thick hair, i don't recomend crimping it. everyone has to learn on their own, though, so if you want a crimper, any CVS, etc would have them.
