If you have shoulder-length or longer hair, especially if hair is chemically processed, it's best to invest in a wide-tooth comb that's perfectly smooth.
When combing your hair, you're more likely to take your time instead of "ripping" through it like you would with a brush. That's because a comb won't slide through tangles, even with a lot of force, like with a brush. You have to gently work out the tangle, which is ultimately better for your hair.

I say comb. Brushes can pull your hair and more comes out that way. With a comb not so much.

a pic comb is the best for your hair. because to much brushing can damage the hair and aregular comb will be to hard to get through your hair. good luck i hope this helps!

Both. You need the comb to detangle and then you brush from root to tip for healthy hair. A rubber comb is recommended and a natural bristle brush (boar bristle). Nylon cuts the hair.

when your hair is wet use a comb. because your hair is weaker when it is wet. only use a brush when it is dry.

A wide-toothed comb.
Never, ever, ever, never use a brush to comb out wet hair. That’s why they call it ‘combing out’ – a wide-toothed comb is the only equipment that should touch your wet head.
