Hair - November 2006

my hair is like near black right now and yeah i know my hair is going to be dead and stuff. I ALREADY KNOW. so to get it blonde, should i bleach my hair 2 times or bleach it once and use a regular hair dye?

the first two dark shades is a mixture of what color my hair is right now and the blonde colors is what i want my hair color to be or a little darker form of blonde.

AND PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO GO TO A SALON OR GET PROFFESSIONAL HELP.
i am dying it myself like i have many times before.

Thought it would be fun to dye my hair with henna on my birthday and it became neon red. I liked it for a while and expected it to wash out in a month, cause I have used henna before, but it is already been three months and it is not fading! My hair is still orange and I am sick of it. My roots are growing out and makes it look like I am balding (I am fifteen). I need some help. How do I get back to my usual dark brown in the healthiest way possible? Maybe some homemade cures, please? LIke mixtures I can make at home and apply. Please help!

hia i coloured my hair the other day and it came out to dark so ive been looking on the internet and its been saying the prell shampoo is good to make the colour lighter. The only thing is i dont no where to find it. I live in the uk thank u xx

im planning to dye my hair jet black and i needed a product that wont end up fading. i have dark brownish color hair that looks almost orange in the sun. and everytime i end up dying my hair jet black with revlon colorsilk, the black ends up fading so i end up with that tint of brown hair. my hair has been bleached and dyed like a total of 10 times counting this year and last. but i still get comments on how straight and nice my hair is lol. so i've been hella lucky that my hair hasnt gone super dead. help please :)

Naturally, I have dark ashy brown hair. Recently, about two months ago I died my hair with henna and it turned out neon scarlet-orange. I liked it for a while, and I knew it would wash out in a month or so, but now it is nearly three months since I coloured it and it is not fading!!! I'm a high-school swimmer, and while I wear a swim-cap to every practice, I'm still exposed to chlorine almost every day. I use a shampoo for color-treated hair, and I try to not keep my hair in the sun for too long (since I dyed it darker). Still, it tends to fade A LOT , so do you have any advice on how I can protect my hair more?

I have naturally dark blonde hair, but dyed it light blonde last night. Now I dont really like it, is there anyway of getting rid of it?-its permenant. Or fading it quicker then normal?? I dont want to strip it cos i've heard thats really bad for your hair. I've heard of one'n'only ColorFix but it sounds like you have to re-dye you're hair after, which i dont want to do, i just want to go back to my natural colour. HELP PLEASE!!

I hate going to get my hair trimmed because of what happened yesterday. I "had" long hair. I do nothing w/ my hair other than wash it and brush it, but it's all good. My hair has no cut "style" it's all one length which you would think would be a fairly simple and quick cut, right? That's usually the case anyway.

I went in yesterday and asked for the usual 1-2" only. I also physically showed the chick how much I wanted taken off due to my past experience of them liking to chop it off.

The chick chopped 5" off!

This isn't the first time that it has happened in my history of having long hair. It NEVER happened when I had shorter hair. So what gives? I know they have length guides on their combs or something, why not use it? I know not all hairdressers are like this, but I have encountered 7 or 8 over the last 6 years. Someone PLEASE tell me why this keeps happening and how to prevent it?

(Sorry, I'm pissed and ranting b/c this has happened soooo many times before.)
