Yes it'll look nice. Nicole Ritchie, Amerie and Lindsay Lohan have some nice side-swept bang hairstyles with wavy hair or weaves.

With black hair you should get lowlights instead of high lights, it will complement you hair & skin much better. Maybe try some chocolate-y browns or some funky colours like red or purple to add depth to your hair.
You should be able to have side swept bangs & layers with wavy hair as long as the cut is right for your wavy hair ( wavy & curly hair is cut slightly differently from straight hair so that it sits better).

yes i used to have medium wavy hair too wear them side swept but before you do that straighten out your bangs use a funky kind of clip it really helps
as for the highlights get strawberry blonde or something it will make you stand out( in a good way)if you don't want to stand out you should get like a deep red that would look really cute
all my friends think that i am the BEST at hair

thats the exact hair i have. i have side swept bangs, wavy, medium length black hair. I get compliments on it all the time. get a dark brown highlights

Flatten the side bangs when you style it and if you want to put streak pick the caramel color that will sure fit your complexion or you can go on auburn.This doesn't need bleaching.

no. if you have wavy it hair, it will only make is look messy and undone, very unattractive, the very opposite of what you are going for. if you straigthen the hair, it will look fine, but i think wavy hair is better than straightened hair. its sexier and adds element to your features and makes you seem and look exotic. guys like girls who look like that. so just keep your wavy hair.

I don't know it might make your hair look really poofy with the layers unless you want your hair to look like that.
