If you have fair skin & naturally fair hair I'd say black would be the worst choice you could make; you'll look washed out & ill & your eyebrows will look silly.
If you want to go darker that's fine but don't be too drastic because you are at risk of looking washed out, try a light to medium brown colour, then there'll be a marked difference but will still suit your fair skin.
If you want to go lighter you have far more options because fair skin suits the lighter shades such as blonde. If you really wanted to make a statement & you have rosy looking fair skin you could be brave & give the platinum a go because its so funky! But definitely go to the hairdressers to get that done, don't try it yourself! If you want something softer, vanilla blonde is a nice colour that doesn't look too brassy.
Its best to figure out what skin tone you have then its easier to match colours that will suit you. You can have a cool or warm skin tone & there's a big difference depending what category you're in to what will suit you.
I have a warm, olive-y skin tone & I know because of this that blondes like platinum & vanilla wouldn't suit me but caramel sorts of shades would. I also can get away with darker shades of brown (I'm currently a chocolate-y brown!) because my skin tone suits it.

It would've helped if you had told us your real hair color.
Most of these people know nothing about what looks good on fair skin. If you have blue eyes, then red or blonde will be best. If you have green or grey eyes, then reddish or golden brown will be best for you. If you have hazel or brown eyes, then light or medium brown will suit you. Don't go dark brown or black; they will make you look gothic.

Nothing too dark (black). If you're blonde, your eyebrows are most likely light too. Black or dark colours just look ridiculous because your eyebrows will still be lighter at it won't look natural.
Stay with a light or medium chestnut brown, dirty blonde, strawberry blonde (light reddish pink highlights).

I think black hair just looks fabulous on fair skin.But i f u r blonde then dont colour black...try dark brown and something like that.

Depending on the fairness of your skin....
If you want to look darker you would go with a more darker shade like a almond or honey would look nice.
If you want to still look fair then go with a blonde or strawberry shade.

BLVE M BLACK IS PERFECT BUT JUST ADD SOME STROKE TINT OF GOLDEN BROWN AT THE BOTTOM HALF PORTION OF UR HAIR WILL JUST ADD GLORY.......
