I have naturally dark blonde hair, but dyed it light blonde last night. Now I dont really like it, is there anyway of getting rid of it?-its permenant. Or fading it quicker then normal?? I dont want to strip it cos i've heard thats really bad for your hair. I've heard of one'n'only ColorFix but it sounds like you have to re-dye you're hair after, which i dont want to do, i just want to go back to my natural colour. HELP PLEASE!!

is dawn dish soap the equivalent of Fairy Liquid? is there any chance it will make the dye go green or anything worse?

On what I know from my experience, it would fade out eventually or you can let it grow out. Your better off going to a hairdresser and asked for advise.

Believe me, there's no such thing as "permanent" hair dye. It all starts washing out within a few weeks, with a best case scenario of it all being gone within a few months. That said, I've heard that using Dawn blue dish soap can tone down the color dramatically. Obviously, that's a bit tough on your hair, but it will take the edge off of over-colored hair. Also, when washing your hair (even notwithstanding the dish soap), use the best possible hair conditioner you can afford, maybe even a hot oil treatment. Hair dye is tough on the hair as it is, so you don't want frizzies along with your bad hair color.

Good luck!

I don't know what else you can do if you don't want to strip it and you don't want to re-dye it. There is no other solution that I can think of. Oh wait someone just told me that they had that same problem and they used dawn dish soap on their hair and it took most of the dye out. So you might want to try that.

You permanently lightened your hair, you can not get it out or fade it out. You permanently altered it until it grows out. There is no need to use hair color remover either. You will have to dye your hair to make it darker. I think you should go to a hair color specialist to darken it since it doesn't seem like you understand hair color. You are probably going to have to have red tones put back in first. At this point, you can have it fixed, don't do anything to it yourself . Good luck.

Not a good idea, too many chemicals could make turn a really odd colour or make it fall out. You might be able to blend it with a semi (depending on what colour you dyed it) I'd ask a hairdressers advice.

you just have to wait for the hair to grow then you can get rid of the highlights

putting or covering it with another dye would just damage your hair

Get the color you want and dye it as many times until color comes back.
