Hair - November 2006

Is it natural for a 13 year old to lose lots of hair per day? Espesially i lose a lot of hair while oiling my hair. I used to never have these problems. Now that I'm very worried what to do, can any one suggest me what to do? Should i meet the doctor?

I have seriously thin hair and have never been able to grow it longer than my shoulder because it ends up looking ratty and weak. My biggest dream (besides making 10 mil bucks) is to have long hair, like Amy Lee or Cristina Scabbia. Could somebody please assist me because i'd like to know if there is in fact a way to get hair thicker. if my hair is thicker, it won't be a problem to grow it long. i live in south africa... in case you needed to know that.

When I blow dry my hair to stay up it ends up turning really fluffy and has ALOT of volume... Well I want my hair to stick up but not be spiky but I would like it to shine and blow drying doesn't seem to be working...

Is there anything I could put in my hair to possibly do that? My hair is black if that means anything. I have really really thick hair as well.

I have oily roots and dry ends. When I tried a clarifying shampoo it helped my roots but fried my ends, not to mention stripped my color. So I used a color protecting s&c but not my hair is so oily I can't wear it down without looking gross. Help!!!!! What's the answer?

I wash my hair every other day with a shampoo plus conditioner in-one, and on the days in between I just condition my hair. (I heard it was better for the hair and scalp to shampoo every other day, but condition every day?).
Anyways, even though I keep my hair clean, it tends to get oily, I tried shampooing and conditioning every day, and then shampooing and conditioning every other day, but it still gets oily.
Is there a special kind of shampoo I should be using? (Keep in mind, I don't have a butt load of money to spend).

I want to keep my hair healthy and avoid any damage, like split ends. How can I do this and fix my hair?
I like to do all kinds of stuff to it - curl, wave, straighten, put it up in different hair clips and such. It's long and strawberry brunette, and I like it a lot - until I step outside. I live in South Louisiana, where very very high humidity is giving ladies bad hair days year round.


In short, I want my hair to look good without damaging it. Please help me.

i went to dye my hair to a reddish dark brown but it turned black...so i stripped the color off(strips off any artifical color off natural hair) and then tried it agian but differ color and differ brand and it still turned black...what should i do, i dont like black on me :(
