This can be very hard to determine. It does depend highly on the texture of your hair. If it is very curly, just wavy, or even somewhat straight with significant frizz it can be complicated to attain a completely straight hairstyle without getting professional stylist help. I assume you have heard of chemical straightening. This process can get very costly, but is supposed to be effective.
If you would prefer not to spend an extravagant amount of money you can always get a conditioning treatment done (to smooth out, and tone down frizz) by a professional or try to do it on your own by using an hot oil treatment, rich hair mask, or thermal heating mask (which might be the best to use.) Then buy a hair relaxer and simply follow the directions. Good luck! :D

You could get a straight perm at a salon. If they're any good, even the curliest of hair will look professionally straightened every day without you having to take any effort. The only problem comes when it starts to grow out and you either have to get the roots straight permed or get the straightened part permed back to curly.

Sweetie, go to Kmart and buy yourself a wet to set flat iron from Remington $25. I have naturally curly hair and I love this thing. Just make sure to use some type of heat protection product on your hair and possibly use a shampoo and conditioner made for going straight...And do it in thin sections, they can be wide, just not bulky. It takes me about 15 mins to do mine and I really have a ton of hair. Have fun!!

You can go get your hair chemically straightened. My sis wants to do it, but doesn't want spend the 200 bucks for it. It's very popular here in LA amongst the Asian community. It makes the girls look so hot.

Well, i was sick of all that stuff too, so............... I started using hair serum or silk serum, whatever; then i would go about my business and let my hair air dry. Then finally when it was done drying, i go and simply take "literally" 5 minutes going over my hair with a skinny little straightner iron. Done, and easy, it works for me, now i don't dread doing my hair! ;)

You could try any of those sleek shampoos that are supposed to tame frizzies, even though that would probably be a lot of taming! Or put a smoothing serum on it right after you get out of the shower.
