I have wavy hair, a lot of it too.
Around 3 or 4 years ago, i stupidely plucked the front part of my hair out.
don't ask why, i'm trying to find out myself!
it did grow back, but it grew back awful.
it's like small horrid curls of frizz which i can't take care of.

ive been looking after it for such a long time and nothing helps.
i make sure i don't brush it nor fiddle with it.
i try hard not to aim the blow-dryer at it and i do my best to make sure my straighteners don't go near it!

my frindge is horrid to do. sometimes it can look so ugly it's unbelievable!
i'd just love to pin it back but everyone would see them horrid frizzy short curls coming out of my forehead.

what can i do to for it to get normal?
it gets me down so much.

thanks.

I have been to 3 different places in less than a month and still not satisfied. In California there was Robert Cromeans, which is great. Anything like that here?

this sounds weird, but my daughter is going to be a mermaid fairy for hallowween. her first activity is Friday, which she must dress up. the costume is real pretty, an aqua green, wings with sparkles, and a waist piece that has "fins", along with a piece that fits on each arm that also has :fins" the legs are slanted, like a mermaids legs, only they aren't closed in. she will also be wearing shimmer pantyhouse and aqua colored shoes. i plan on putting glitter in her face, and the part of her back whwere the costume isn't showing. as for my question.....how should i do her hair. i want to give her the right hairstyle to match. she has dark, chocolate brown, shoulder length hair. it's thick and strait. any suggestions on how to put it up?

i live in jamaica and it gets really hot sometimes, so some good up-do's would be nice, too. btw, i have straight, shoulder-length hair. i'm kinda tired of pulling my hair back into a rubber band everyday. step-by-step instuctions would be nice, too.

as a black women i have to say this! stop putting so much weaves in your hair! its not real! we are not white girls!our hair will never be naturally silky straight( then is not to say all white people have silky straight hair. but you get my point) do you know why most black women's hair won't grow.because of the weaves.the glue and tracks cut off the oxygen the hair is supposed to get.as a result it doesn't grow and sometimes the hair breaks off.

My senior homecoming is next week and I was thinking about getting hair extensions. I have long, golden brown hair that's naturally semi-wavy and extremely healthy, but I want it to be longer! I know you can buy extensions in beauty supply stores, but is that a good idea? I'm not looking to spend a huge amount of money on them either...

Also, if I were to get them, does anyone know the best way to put them in? Weaving, bonding, etc.?

I don't want to look like I'm trying to be a teenager. Currently I wear it down to my shoulders with bangs. My hair is curly and I straighten it almost every day.

I have naturally curly hair that is about 10inches long (straightened) and am cutting it short. I know people grow their hair long to then have a wig made and donate that to cancer societies for chemo patients but I've no idea how to go about this or who to speak to. The other problem is I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland and my options are limited, but any suggestions/contact details for anywhere would be great, it'll get the ball rolling.
