I keep getting split ends and as im trying to grow my hair, getting them chopped is out of the question. Any idea's?

I know this won't make you happy, but cutting them is the ONLY way to actually be rid of split ends. Any product that claims to solve them is really just masking them, coating them if you will. So you can do that, I think bedhead makes a product just for split end treatment, I've heard people say they like it. But if you really want to get rid of them, cut them, and refrain from doing anything that would cause them to reoccur too quickly, I.E. (all things heat) However, split ends are a natural thing and eventually you'll have them back, but try to fight them off for as long as you can. If you don't cut them, eventually the will unravel up your hair and make it appear more and more damaged.

go get a trim or the will keep splitting and it will get worse and then use a really good conditioner
try not to blow dry or use hot irons on your hair if you can help it if you are going to be at home one day put conditioner in hair and the leave it in

Use hair mayonnaise by Silk Elements, revive and restore; can get at Sally's beauty supply or from QVC get Peter Coppola's makeover Protein pack, excellent products for hair......

try using your hairdryer on a lower heat, the same with any other heat products(straightners,curlers ect).
you would have to get the ends trimmed though but my suggestion may prevent further splits!

nothing reapairs split ends only getting your hair cut where there split does. infuseum shapoo helps and conditioner but getting it cut is best

Cut them. There is no way to 'heal' split ends.

well the only way you will get rid of them is if you get your ends trimmed every 3-4weeks.i know you may not like it.but that's the only way to get rid of them completely
