A slightly graduated bob is what I would suggest. It is far from a rollerset, yet doesn't look like a teenager at the bars. Its a very classic cut and always looks sophisticated. You could also try sweeping your bangs to the side to update your style a bit. I give this cut to my mother, she is an elementary school teacher. She gets compliments all the time. She is 55.

i'm 40 8 and placed on Levis and purple talk intense tops, so i assume not all older women human beings try this. I hate polyester slacks and flowery shirts! I do must be careful what I placed on, as i don't prefer to shame my 2 teenage sons. As for the quick hair, i'm thinking having my shoulder length, very on the instant, very large hair shrink right into a pixie bob, using fact long hair has a tendency to visually postpone a face it particularly is already suffering too lots from the outcomes of gravity! Spikey short hair and advantageous rings grants somewhat some elevate and sparkle to a face it particularly is not youthful. i don't care approximately looking my age; I do only not prefer to look like a depressing long-confronted previous sod!

Their are many hairstyles for women your age. I guess it depends on how you like it, if you want to try something new and fresh get it cut shorter with lots of high lights. Bangs and straight seems really plain. So maybe try some high lights or curling it with a curling iron? Their are many pictures in magazines and on websites of great easy to manage hair.

the new madonna re-incarnation of farah fawcett's do looks great, but only if you're not one of those with a round face, what kind of facial shape do you have?
Don't make your hair short, that is soooo cliche for older women. It's like telling the whole world, "Hey look, I'm getting old so I'm gonna cut my hair short to look young!", just keep styling it as if you were in your 40s, and never let a gray hair be in plain sight, and make sure you get hair professionally dyed, and if you're losing hair, get a hair transplant! I feel so sad when I see older women losing their hair, it depresses me, and it's not necessary what with the technology of the world today.

Grow your hair out until it reaches your shoulders. Dye it dark auburn. Trust me this color looks great on anyone. If you want emphasize your face a little, add some waves into it. It makes you look elegent and beautiful.

It kind of depends on your facial structure. Your hairstyle shouldn't just depend on your age. I would suggest finding a celebrity that you think you look like, and then research some of her hairstyles. Normally, celebrities have stylists that can bring out the best hairstyle for one's best features.
