I've heard many people say 'scrunching your hair looks pretty' or whatever. And i'm not really sure what it means or how you scrunch your hair. Is the result good? Should i try it? What kind of product should i use? Thanks a lot. :)

I have light brown hair that is shoulder length. I heard that you can comb lemon juice in wet hair, lay out in the sun, and then you will have highlights. Any advice on how to do this? I don't want to have bleach-blond highlights or anything.

For some reason, I can't get my hair to get completely dry. I've tried mulitple different ways, and I don't even start with my hair soaking wet. I went to bed with wet hair last night, and I woke up and it was damp, so I tried to blow dry it for 30 minutes, and it will NOT completely dry. I've used two different hair dryers. I had to buy a new straightener, because I broke my last one, because my hair was too damp. Is there any kind of hair product that will help it dry faster? Do I need ANOTHER hair dryer? I've got a Conair Ionic Cordkeeper 1872 [ brand new ] and a Conair EuroSalon 1600.

I am starting a new job Monday & have grey hair down to the middle of my back. I am 54 yrs old. Anyway, I would like to do something with it. The reason it's so long is because in the past it seems that whoever would cut it would totally mess it up...so, I just let it grow. While it is pretty and is easier to keep up, I'm not trying to relive my teenage years. My mother would turn over in her grave if she saw my hair....she thought anyone over 30 should have short hair. I want to go to a good place, reasonable price if possible. Maybe I should just wait for my first paycheck & splurge for Dolce or someplace with the most trained stylists....I'm trying to avoid coloring as that's a pain to keep up when it's grey. But who knows? I'm also in the Phoenix area too. Thanks for any input!

My friend (12 years old) has got extremely frizzy curly hair (mostly frizz). She is caucasion but her hair resembles african-american hair except it's blonde! How can I help her with her hair?? Should she cut it short or keep it long...she usually brushes it and puts it in a ponytail but I know it can look a lot prettier if she just figures out how to do it.

What's with all the women round here? Is it now illegal not to have died blond hair, or (worse still) streaks and highlights like old sick? What happened to natural beauty?

What color would look good as streaks on hair that is pretty much black? It's really actually dark brown but it looks black. I want highlights preferribly without going to a salon but that's not set in stone. What color should I try? I would like to stick to fairly natural colors. Thanks!

This is the first time I had highlights done on my hair, I don't really like them because I have to get it done again. What do you recommend I do next, retouch or die all one color? Will the highlights show through that one color? Do I have to bleach all my hair to do it? Please help!

I have think black hair, not afro carribean. My hair is very thick and dry but it's not so much the thickness of my hair but the dryness and texture of it. I've tried loads of different intensive conditioners which don't seem to make any difference. It's dry and brittle. It feels nice and silky after i've just washed it but when it dries it goes brittle and inmanageable again. Any ideas?

At the moment I have to use gel on it to stop it looking unnatural. I would really like to stop using gel! My hair is short at the moment but I would like to grow it longer.
