as described by one of the users, a fishtail braid is one braid starting from the crown of the head going back. I would not recommend it if you do not have extremely long hair or its just a wast of time. you should also have a face for it as there is usually no hair on the face unless you are wearing bangs. african american stylist of 12 years. hope this helps a bit, oh some also call it a french braid.

It relies upon on the reel. If the reel would not do a solid interest laying the line on in intersecting angles, or you do no longer stick to sufficient stress while spooling, you may get the line to bind against itself. otherwise, my braid casts further than mono or fluorocarbon on my previous baitcaster. i'm utilising 30lb ability professional that replaced 15lb P-Line fluorocarbon.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHh........they are so pretty! I'm white, but my sister used to braid my hair this way & I loved it. Don't know how to do it myself. It looks like a beautiful herringbone, in a way. Maybe you could try google-hirstyles, braids. Hope this helps....

fishtail uses 4 sections of hair. ( 2 sections - use the outside of each for 3 & 4 )
outside of right to inside of left. outside left to inside of right.
