Hair grows at the rate of approximately 1/2 inch per month. Hair is just the body's way a getting rid of protein. I've heard of people eating more protein than they normally would and eating gelatin for hair and nail growth and strength. Don't know if that really works, though.

I've also heard that massaging the scalp and keeping hair clean helps, but I think that just makes the hair healthier.

Good luck in finding a way.

one braidings give a lil tug on the roots and then if ur lookin for faster than that and you got a few days to hide therees a goop thats like a heavey grease called blue magic its irratating for a while but if you want hair fast thats it and lots of vitamine E, oh the magics not a burner it just feels like gooy wax and try a light trim of like less than a half inch just graze the tips ,i use to hang it upside down and straight graze with a standard razor ,soft tap grazes get the dead end tip but sorta fast swipes =clean cut be carefull, ive done myown for a quite a while so im like skilled at it do it only once every week or two

my mom says some people have told her you should:

wash it one a day, or once every other day (preferably at night)pe of hair you have.
or even try washig it less, that might help
let it dry! (don't use blow dryers too much), brush it, and
braid it (of french braid it)... at night!

also, even it out by cutting one or two centimeters once a month
the more you cut it, the faster it grows, (it's true)

during the summer, your hair tends to grow maybe evn twice as fast as during the rest of the year
this is most likely because of how long you're out in the sun, and all the vitamins you take in when you eat, and all the excersice you do.

and...
you can go to sun harvest. ask them if they have any hair treatments to meke your hair grow out faster

although, if it's just a bad haircut, try all sorts of things and hairdo's and styles. go to a stylist (also go to one or to a salon and ask them!)

if you trim your hair just a littl bit every so often (like every 6-8 weeks), then it will grow faster. triming your hair gets rid of the nots whitch could be stopping you hair from growing so fast

Don't cut it! Use shampoo without sodium Laural Sulfate! Such as Jasons. Stay away from chemicals! Chemicals will make your hair weak so that when it gets a certain length, it keeps breaking off! Seriously!

you might want to try just keeping your hair healthy to prevent split ends so it can grow better, and maybe faster, a good shampoo i found when i was trying to grow my hair out was Garnier Fructis: long and strong. you should try that. :-)
