I am trying to grow out gel nails. They do not come off with acetone, as they're not acrylics, they're gels. Gel won't come off with acetone. They're about halfway there, but does anyone have any tips on making my hands look better until they're completely grown out? They look terrible right now. Thanks!

i cant do anything with i, its breaking really bad, and i have horrible split ends. i dye my hair so i dont want to strip the color either. any ideas?

We all know that the sexiest size to be is the size you feel most confident in, but if you had to choose out of these, what do you think is the best?

1. Size 0 - Anorexic Model Look
2. Size 4 - Slim, but not overly skinny
3. Size 8 - Real Woman
4. Size 12 - Slightly plump
5. Size 16 - Overweight look

I think size 4 is best, but thats what I wear lol!

Okay well basically.. I'm going out tomorrow somewhere and i really want to look not over the top.. just casual but different from my normal self so not just put on some make up.. straighten my hair and then off i go. ok well.. there is this guy that i kinda used to have a crush on but we lost contact last year [we have known each other for about four years] and this year we started talking again. well he recently got a myspace and when i added him he put me in his top friends immediately. k well thats no big deal. he sent me a txt last night that said FWD: this is SPOOKY its called mind reader snd to ten ppl [not me] then go 2 ur inbox& press * it will spell ur lovers name its stupid but true. so i sent back jokingly cuz he was my last inbox 'it says your name haha' well he never responded back so.. i was like 'haha jk you were my last inbox but not anymore so... has it snowed yet?' cuz he was visting his family up north and then i just ended the convo... is there a chance he likes me? cuz i really need to know i mite still have feelings for him. thanx!

Many people say dermablend is the best thing for covering a tattoo and talk about how miraculous it is. Well, it didn't cover mine. I tried both the fair & light shades- neither went exactly right with my skin, especially since I had to put it on thick to cover the tattoo. So, basically the tattoo got replaced by an obviously painted spot. Then, that spot dried and got lighter and the tattoo showed through as soon as the "paint" dried. Honestly, it never covered the tattoo completely anyway, but I might could have managed it, yet it would have left a patch that looked like it was caked with paint or something. If you are pale skinned and have a black tattoo- which most tattoos are outlined in black- then it's not going to cover it in my opinion. I have seen others say the same thing, but a lot of people praise it like it's the best thing ever. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew anything that actually worked or if they thought they knew why this didn't work for me.

I am going to a gala where the attire is ball gowns and tuxedos. I go to this thing every year, and I usually get my hair done by a professional (because I am not super girl). Last year, the lady who did my hair was drunk or something, because it just looked awful. This year, I think I am going to give it a try myself, since last year was such a disaster. So......

I am a 28 year old woman with *very* short, medium-thickness, naturally wavy, medium-dark brown hair. I'm not very good at styling, and I don't want my hair to feel super-stiff or look too "done". The good news is that I do have a nice oval face and round head for super-short hair. I *desperately* need some suggestions for easy cuts/styles that look fairly feminine and work with my hair's natural properties. I live in the South, where very short hair on younger women is fairly uncommon, and I can't find a hairdresser with enough experience to guide me. I *swear* I'm about to just shave myself bald. HELP!

I'm 14 years old and all I wear is blush, mascara, and lip gloss.
Some people say that they can barely tell that I wear any because it looks really natural, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

I have very very curly hair, and my hair is a disaster. My real problem is the bangs. They are thick and chunky and they don't frame my face well (I look like one of those grunge-people). Straightening it won't do anything, because they are still big and chunky, just straight. I can't get a different haircut either, because there is nobody around here who does curly hair. Are there any styles that I can do to help it?
