First go see a doctor. You may have a condition. If that is not the case use a pomade and rub it on your scalp in the parts. This will keep your scalp moiturized and your flakes won't show.
Personally I use Motions Herbal sheen spray. A little really goes a long way.

I used Black n' Sassy Fresh Braids spray and sprayed my scalp every night (saturate it) and wrapped it in a nylon scarf. It was great for dandruff control.

Pink oil moisturiser not the spray, the cream!!! Or coconut oil.
When you first get your hair rebraided it always itches...hydrate w/ the moisterisers I suggested and DO not scratch your head. Tap on it till the itching stops. Also, use a dandruf shampoo/and a conditioner every time you wash your hair. Don't wash too frequently..then you lose your natural oils.

you need to take the cornrows out and treat your hair and scalp with anti dandruff stuff. when it's cleared up, get them put back.

Your scalp is probably extremely dry.
So, I agree with anyone who said to take them out until it clears up.

Go to Sally's Beauty Supply. They've got all kinds of stuff to help with this. Supergro should definitely help. You can find that there.
