My husband will be home from Iraq in about 12 days give or take a few days...Im getting my hair done, have a new outfit etc. I was thinking of getting my nails done also, however when I do get them done they hurt for several days afterwards, it feels like someone is squeezing my fingertips. How far in advanced can I get my nails done and still have them look fresh and good..i get a square tip with a french manicure

Ok I have long hair.. Just like, an inch past my boobs...

Anyways.. I want a new hair cut.. And I want it long, but with more volume and sidebangs.. So which hair cut should I choose? Or what would I tell my stylist chick? ( My face is a heart shape)

I went vegan this summer, and I'm finally cycling through the last face wash/shampoo things I had before going vegan, so I'm wondering...

Is Clean and Clear vegan? I'm thinking it isn't... what about Noxzema?

And I know that Garnier isn't vegan, so I'm getting rid of that once it's gone. But I straighten my hair a lot, so--does anybody know any vegan stuff that helps your hair with heat protection/shiny/smooth/anti-frizz stuff during straightening? What about conditioners and shampoos?

I live really close to a Marlene's and Trader Joe's, so I can go shopping there pretty soon.

Also, what about shoes...? I'm a guy, and I have vans, but I need to get rid of them once they're worn out, too, since they're leather.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a face wash that foamed when you put it in your hand like the foam soap except that it treats acne and cleans your skin Please tell me the price also... I'm looking for something effective and cheap ( under 10 dollars)

I have the clean and clear foaming facial cleanser but i have to rub my hands together to get it to foam a little , kind of like soap not foaming facial wash

I don't do drugs and I don't drink so please don't even suggest it. I just want to know if Tylenol or IBProfin or something would be helpful to take before my tattoo this Friday. I'm 5'7'' and weigh a whopping 103lbs and I'm getting my next tattoo which will cover the top of my foot. My feet are BONEY to say the least, it's needle against bone which I remember from my back tattoo...tends to hurt pretty badly. I know the usual stuff to do (Get lots of sleep, eat before you go, stay away from caffein, breath and wait for the endorphins, listen to music...) which helps me out but it's not realy the pain itself I'm worried about, it's my foot twitching which I don't think I could control. So does anyone know of any pain meds that wouldnt thin out my blood but still maybe ease the pain a little bit?

I've always thought tattoos were very similar to plastic surgery. That it's not a "need" but something for looks. So why cant we get the same pain meds they get for that stuff? lol joking.

I have long dark brown/black with a tiny bit of dark dark red hair ( its a bit longer than my bra strap in the back) I have long side-swept bangs that I am growing out and I have layers. i got this 100% cotton crochet knit hoodie from pac sun... and on the care tag it says to machine wash in cold water and then dry flat... but i was wondering would putting it in the dryer damage it?
there's a very similar hoodie at forever 21:

and for this hoodie it says to tumble dry low.

I want to buy a gold necklace. However, I go to the jewelery store and it's like $1000 for a 14k gold necklace. It's really shiny though, are the $50 ones out there just as shiny? Why are some sold at $50 while others at $1000? How will people distinguish between something that costs real money versus some $50 rip off?

How much can I expect for an 18k Figaro gold necklace? 14k Figaro gold necklace? 18k means it's more pure gold and lighter right? Why is it that a gold watch from Rolex will cost you $30k while a gold necklace will only cost like $3000?

Anyway, would $1000-$3000 for a 14k Figaro gold necklace be a fair price? That's the price they're selling at, not the "estimated retail price" where they mark it up. I couldn't find 18k, but I'm interested in prices for that. Also, do prices go down during Xmas shopping season? If so, how much of a discount can I expect or should I just buy a necklace now?I'm wondering in the event that the price of gold might affect price/discount

we used to buy these pyramid shape candles somewhere but i dont remember where. you light them and then while they're burning and the wax is dripping off, there are "treasures" (they were like metal or something and looked like charms for a charm bracelet.. but they weren't.) would come out of them. or you would see one at the top almost coming out of the candle and so you'd blow the candle out and take this "treasure" out. and they were like little charms and there were lots in the candle. they were about medium size (the candle was) and the "treasures" were kinda small. i used to have these types of candles all the time! just about 4 years ago! and i loved them! does anyone know what im talking about and/or where i can buy them?!! Okay, I am wanting to get a sleeve on my left arm, i already habe two red butterflys on my inner forearms, that look like they are melting/bleeding down it. I dont know If i should try and figure out some kind of theme to finish the arm off with? or should I just keep getting little random ones that mean something to me? and just wait for it to turn into a sleeve?

Just wanting to ask what tattoos you guys/girls have, where they are and what they mean to you?

I think tattoos that are a bit of a story board of your life and it's milestones make you really unique (as opposed to the generic Asian characters/symbols etc).

SO. What are your stories???

I have:

A crash cymbal symbol in the back of my neck (it's drum kit musical notation) because playing the drums is my LIFE. It's a serious passion that I could never part with.

A cartoon zombie rabbit on my inner left ankle for my pet rabbit who is like a son to me... love him very much (he acts like a puppy dog, very cute!).

A chicken standing on a star on my right shoulder blade. This is for my sister/best friend who I love a lot and call "Chicken". It's a cute line drawring based on my favourite board game form when I was child. The star is based on a Hollywood star and symbolises her ambition to be an actress/singer.

(Oh, and I designed/drew all of my tatts myself.)
