My husband will be home from Iraq in about 12 days give or take a few days...Im getting my hair done, have a new outfit etc. I was thinking of getting my nails done also, however when I do get them done they hurt for several days afterwards, it feels like someone is squeezing my fingertips. How far in advanced can I get my nails done and still have them look fresh and good..i get a square tip with a french manicure

acrylic nails look trashy...opt for your natural nail just get a manicure and a nice nude polish.

That shouldn't happen if the acrylics are applied properly.
Consider getting silk wraps instead. Silk wraps are thinner but still strengthen your nails & help the polish stick.

maybe you can just have polish on them instead since you say they hurt so much and have them done a few days ahead.
