so i'm not fat but a lot of my weight is in my stomach. its hard to find jeans that fit because 90% of the time they are too tight in the waste but fit me everywhere else. does anyone know a good brand of jeans that has bigger waste lines and still slim fitting legs?

I have this problem too! It's so frustrating because pants will fit my legs perfectly but will barely button, or the waist will be perfect but the legs are ridiculously baggy :(

Chor pants from Hot Topic fit me very well as they are very stretchy. Most of the time I put jeans that will fit good at the waist and take in the leg part.

to add on to Shecky's post. You need to find jeans that fit your largst measurement. You do not mention your size. but you need to find jeans that fit you in the waist first. no matter what the rest of the jeans do to your body. Also, straight leg and slight boot cut are the most flattering styles on the majority of people. You can have them altered if they are too big in the legs once you have fit your waist.

you will probably never find pants off the rack to fit both your waist and your legs. So alteration will give you a custom fit.

I have the same problem. I really recommend custom made jeans. I get mine at Make Your Own Jeans. They start at just $45.00. You have total control over the style, fit, cut, rise, length, everything. I just love them. They really look great and they're comfortable because they fit perfectly. And the bonus is, you'll never have to try on another pair of jeans again!

try plus size jeans. You will have better luck finding jeans with bigger waist bands and slimmer fitting legs. here are some good jeans i think you'll like from different stores:
it might be a bit of a splurge on this first store but it will be worth it.
