Beauty & Style - 11 February 2007

I kind of have a long face with soft features. I'm not fat or chubby at all; I'm in the process of getting toned. My non-layered hair goes down to the top of my chest, but it's getting unhealthy. I feel like at least five inches should be taken off to get rid of all the split ends.

What kind of hair cut should I get? I was thinking shoulder-length with layers, and keeping my bangs.

Does anyone have any links to pictures of examples of hair-dos?

How do you think I should style my hair?

Side Note: I've been wanting to grow my hair down to my butt, but it takes forever to grow, and I want it to be healthy when it reaches that point. I've also wanted to experience short short hair with cute layers as some point too. Should I not go drastic now?

I'm just looking for a change, but I'm not sure how to make that happen. I mean, I'm bored with always have my hair down and cycling through the same outfits all the time... what can I do to just change? Not even necessarily buy new outfits or wear different makeup... Okay....I'm planning on going shopping for some new clothes for spring and I'm thinking about shopping at aeropastale but I'm a little bit scared cuz I'm black and I'm afraid people may look at me funny. I got my lip pierced about two nights ago, and it's swelling a lot. The ring is starting to cut into my inner lip a little. Does anyone know the peak time of swelling, or when I should expect it to start going down at least a little? I'm just scared my lip is going to get even larger...Then I might have to take the jewelry out. BTW, no bleeding or bruising. Just a tiny bit of puss on outside. Let me know. Thanks guys.

I don't have a theme for my wedding(or a buget for that matter) so I was just going to pick some favorite colors that go together. But it's going to be a spring wedding(beacuse I hate the cold. I'm 14 at the moment, and when I was a baby my mom had my ears pierced but I seldom wore the earrings and the holes closed up again. I'm thinking about getting them pierced again, but does it really hurt? My mom said I cried like heck when I got them pierced, but I was a baby so I was probably bound to do that.
