black tights without looking trashy?

i have black tights with feet, the tights aren't see through, and i don't know what to pair them w/ shirt-wise, pantwise, and shoe wise...i'm looking for advice please

thanks to everyone for their feedback...i keep getting a lot about wearing skirts...does it matter what color the skirt is...is black too much? what about denim? and do they have to be minis, what length is too long? thanks!

I like the idea of a black top, mid-thigh length cream/white skirt and then peep-toe shoes and matching jewellry in a colour that pops.

I'm really digging peep-toes with black tights right now

if you have some funky jeans with holes in them you could put the tights under them,and for a shirt go with something not too dressy but not a tee-shirt, for shoes you could get some flats or clogs(which ever one is more your style). a long beaded necklace might look hot 2 and tie the outfit together!

It would look good with a shirt dress (the really long dress like shirts) and flats. Maybe a belt at the waist would give it a good accent too. It's really up to you, and what kinf of look you're going for.

wear a skirt and a tight fitting top, not sure about the shoes though

black tights arent trashy unless theyre fishnets and u pair them w/garters and a corset.

wear them w/a skirt or black pinstripe bermudas and pumps (no peep-toe or open shoes w/tights, that's ugly)

ya tights are def. not trashy. But it depends on what your going for, you could wear bright colors...black jewelry. White/Black only, RED white and black is always classic and seems to be in style now.
