to be honest it all depends on the person, but for me I was your age when I first got mine pierced and it hurt a little at first but it wasn't bad, but everyone has a different tollerance to pain so it all depends on the person, but as long as you don't get infected it won't be that bad, they will give you a bottle of liquid and tell you instructions to follow and as long as you do that you will be fine. Good luck, hope this helped out some. I now have 5 piercings in one ear and 3 in the other. The ones that do hurt a lot more are the upper ear lobe where there is cartilage there, but I have 2 up there.

I got mine pierced when I was 18 (and I'm 52 now); I expected the piercing to hurt, but it didn't. Back then, you had to get them pierced at a doctor's office, and he used a tool similar to a hole punch, with the stud doing the "punching." It was very fast, and literally didn't hurt at all - I had expected at least SOME pain, and was very surprised that it simply didn't hurt. There was a tiny bit of soreness as they healed, but certainly nothing that would have kept me from any activities. After they're pierced, be sure to keep them CLEAN; the sooner they create scar tissue, the sooner you'll be able to wear earrings other than the piercing studs. DON'T rush it - you want very tough scar tissue to form; wait 6 to 8 weeks before you try to wear any other earrings.

besides the indisputable fact that it became, and nevertheless is, worry-loose prepare to pierce ears with a piercing gun, that is actual an exceedingly undesirable concept. there are 2 important motives. a million. simply by fact piercing weapons use sharp-ended studs to tear a puncture wound into your physique, bobbing up a serious breeding floor for an infection. 2. piercing weapons are different use, and maximum contain plastic components, so despite if a place like Claire's had and used an autoclave, which they do no longer, the plastic components of the gun would soften, so which you will in all risk settlement hepatitis from the gun, itself. all piercings would desire to be finished via a experienced piercer, no longer somebody who works in an adjunct save, or a kiosk, in a mall...who has truly education, with concentration on anatomy, and a certification from the well being branch, utilising a hollow, razor-sharp, one use piercing needle, which actual slices a sparkling hollow for the jewellery to be inserted with the aid of, and that can heal good, while cared for. see if somebody, of age, on your loved ones can detect a genuine piercer, and sign so you might get your ears pierced good, that is worth it....and hepatitis or an infection is definitely no longer worth it. if no respected piercer will do your ears due on your age, this is ultimate to attend till you're somewhat older, and have it finished good.

I got mine pierced at 5 and cried, but I wasn't prepared. Then they closed up, I got them pierced at 8 and didn't cry. It does hurt for a bit and the area will for awhile. Getting any area of your ear pierced will hurt, but my friend told me that your belly button doesn't hurt. Wait thats off topic. It does hurt for a bit. Make sure they don't get infected, because they will hurt for a long time. The top of my right ear got infected and it hurt so bad.

It hurts some when you get the top of your ears pierced, but on the bottom, it feels like a pinch. It is really fast, there's no blood, and little pain. Don't worry about it.

It only hurts for a few minutes. Stings a little. You could always take some tylenol or advil right before you go to have them pierced. It will take the edge off.

No it doesn't hurt at all. The actual piercing procedure is fast and it didn't hurt, but after you get the piercing, it starts to sting and hurt a little bit. I didn't find the pain excruciating.

I got my ears pierced and it didn't hurt any worse than getting a shot. It's not bad, just don't forget to keep your piercing clean with peroxide.

My daughter had hers done when she was 10, let them close, then had them done again at 11. Both times she felt a tiny sting, then her lobes were hot! We joked and laughed so much about it! The fearful anticipation was the worst part. Establish a reward for yourself for when you're done.
