I have v. sensitive skin and upto now l've been wearing 24 karat Gold earrings all the time. But I think I developed an infection. There is this red blister like bump behind my ear.

However, I'd love it if i could wear those funky earrings they have like in claire's. They say they are hypo allergenic but I'm not sure whether i can trust them. Should i risk it and try? (Once my bump is gone?)

Any1 tried them yet? (with sensitive skin like me?)

Last time I was going to die my hair, a woman came down the same isle and saw me holding a box of hair dye. She told me she had used that exact product and that it turned her hair bright orange and she had to go get it professionally fixed. I was scared to die my hair after that, but now I think I am ready. Does anybody have any ideas for semipermanent products?

I have always wondered this. As a child I wanted to have caucasain hair cuz everyone laughed at my curls but now I love them and would'nt swap them for the world! Am I the only person who feels this way, do alot of people feel the need to conform to straight all the time? India Arie/ Erykah Badu are the only exeptions I know of, at least young black and mixed race girls have 2 positive role models!

I just got my first tattoo yesterday for my 18th birthday, it has lillies on it going up my side then one goes onto my stomach a little bit below my bra strap and then to go on my back and i have a few buds that go up onto my shoulder, i just got the outline and it stands out a lot and i love it. It's pretty sore today which i know is normal I was just wondering when the soreness will start to go away?What do you have for a tattoo?How long was yours sore for? How much did yours cost? How long did it take you to finish the design?thank you very much in advance

I thought for hair, plait tightly night before and brush so goes frizzy and add random plaits. Make up, lots of black eyeliner and shadow, mascara and black lippy, bronzer (I'm not naturally black so this might be a bit of a challenge!). Accessories, loadsa banfles and rings and necklaces, big earings. I don't know what to do about dress and stuff. Can't wear sleveless yet!!! lol I need this stuff by saturday but this might be hard cos im at school all week. How can I search on ebay for stuff. I need it cheap and to arrive by saturday. I want fake rings and stuff but on ebay it kept coming up with real ones which were really expensive. what should i type in the search box on ebay. already tried tia dolma, pirates of the caribbean, old rings, ancient rings but can't find right stuff. any ideas? Thanks so much!

I have naturally curly hair, which I started straightening with a flat iron. I noticed that the ends were looking bad,so I went and had all the dead ends cut. That left me with about chin-length hair when straight. I want to wear it curly, but it is entirely to short. I kind of have a Shirley Temple thing going. I know that if I keep straightening, it's going to fry, but I can't wear it that short and curly out in public. What do I do?!

i no this may sound silly, but i just want other peoples opion on this. i am 24 years old and a mother of 2, and 3 step children. my ? is alot of people have said to me u r a mother, u r not suppose to look like that. i love tattoos and piercings, and yes i have alot, and some people critisize what i do and the way i look and dress. but i am happy with the way i look and i am a great mother. do u think it matters how u look and what u do to your own body when u r a parent?

I pierced my ears almost 12 weeks ago. I changed them for the 5th time almost 7 weeks ago and the nxt day I found a bump behind my ear. {On the place between your ear and head}
It was red and glossy and it was like a blister. I showed my mum and she said that when she pierced she got the same thing and it eventually burst and blood came out and after that yellowish stuff.

I went to the doc. and he put some 'dressing' of magnesium something and gave me antibiotics for 5 days. It became smaller but it's growing again.

Do you think I should just remove my earrings and let it close and pierce again mayb nxt yr?
