I know if your underage you can get a parent to sign for u to get it ,but I need to know the age that u can get it without parental consent.

Without parental consent you can get ANYTHING at 18. At that age you are an adult under the eyes of the law and your body is finally your own. It's crazy that you have to be owned for 18 years but oh well. And at least in Washington you can't get a tattoo before 18 by state law.

It depends on where you live, generally if you call shops in your area you will be able to find out age requirements. Also note that the shop you go to has a right to set its own rules to an extent (obviously they shouldn't work on minors without parental consent, but they can reject ANY minors even with parents permission)
Most areas is 18, but in some places it might be 16 (for piercings only)

18 to get a tattoo without parent consent and for piercing it depends like bellybutton and nose and stuff like that it is either 14 or 16 but for nipples and tongue it is older then that at the tattoo place I go to they have a list of piercings and how old you have to be with each one... I would call around make sure you go to a reputable place tho some places might not care but I would rather wait and go to a place that is good and follows the law!

Where I live, it's 16 for piercings ( other than lobe. ). 18 for tattoos. But at some places if you're under fifteen they won't do it AT ALL. Not even if the parent comes in with you.. I know because I had to search around for a place that would do my nose for me! Finally I found 'The Ink Spot' where they'll do it. Cause' I'm thirteen. =/
