i put my earings back on, but the holes r red, flaky, and burning.
is there anything i can put on them?

they probably aren't closing. they are probably infected. take the earrings out. you might be allergic to the metal on the earrings or you might need to wash them. take them out for another week and try a high quality gold earring the next time you put them in.

this kind of depends on when you got your ears pierced.. but I've never had a problem with my closing up... I've had earrings out for 6 months and they didn't close up.

Make sure you clean them with the ear care solution that you got when you got them pierced. If you don't have that, then use first aid rubbing alcohol, but only a little bit as it dries out the ear and that's what you don't want. Make sure the earrings are also clean when you put them in and put some Neosporin on the holes to help them heal. If they're newly pierced you shouldn't have left them out that long. I've had mine over a year now and I only leave them out 2-3 days at a time. They should be alright if you keep the earrings in and keep it clean.

The irritation could occur cause you could be sensitive/allergic to the type of metal that the earring is made out of.

But continue to clean it so they won't get worse.

Umm if u can go to the mall and go to CLaires of Icing by claries and get ear care antiparasitic stuff..U just put some on and it feells sooooo good.
it doesnt burn

You can put polysporin on them. They are probably just irritated.
