i always straighten my hair and it is all boring

There's a lot of things you can do with it. Try a ponytail. If that seems too boring tie your hair with a ribbon to match your outfit. Try a braid. Half of your hair up, half down. A messy bun low on your head is another option. If you want to leave your hair down maybe try parting it at a different spot.
You'll find a bunch of styles for short hair by going to Yahoo and searching for images. Try "short or medium hairstyle".

try a ponytail, a half up half down style, or a messy bun, i have the same type of hair (sorta) and thoe styles always work for me! gl!

Well you can get a new hair cut or you get it permed i would ask a hair stylest though just to make sure
