I bought a cheapie replica submariner and love the way it looks. It has the clear back, so I assume it has the seiko automatic movement in. It works, just doesnt keep good time. I asked a watch mender and he said only rolex dealers can take the back off and they would then confiscate the watch as it was an illegal copy.
Damn, I know its not real, so would anyone who knows their watches, but I love it, just want to be able to use it.

Any ideas anyone, I'm in the UK

I'm just curious because a lot of my friends wear tons of eye make-up like 4 dif colors & not natural colors but kinda like a rainbow & raccoon eyes. I personally don't like it. I like using natural colors & not so much of it on. but what do you guys prefer?

I am searching for a specific type of necklace for my sister's wedding, the kind which has a single piece of clear nylon thread and then one single diamond (or fake diamond) so when it is worn it appears that there is no chain and just the diamond stud? When Im sleeping with my curly hair and wake up the next day the volume is gone looks like it I have not brush my hair. It gets freezy probably because I move a lot. Today I wash my hair and Im loving my curls. How can I keep them like that so they don't get messed up while sleeping.

I have a silver and carnelian necklace. The silver is oxidized and I want to know how to clean it without harming the carnelian. A silver cloth is out of the question becuase the necklace is too detailed.

There is a method of cleaning silver which involves baking soda, hot water and aluminum foil, can anyone give me the exact details on this or other home remedies? Thanks.
