How do I do really good ''scene'' makeup?

I love scene makeup and have seen photos of girls wearing it awesomely well but how do they make their eyes look so good? A long detailed answer would rock [:

the first staple of good looking scene make up begins with eyeliner! I recommend buying both a black one and a white one. as mentioned above hot topic has an excellent selection of colors of eye shadows for you to choose from.

now for applying your new goods. first line your eyes with the black liner, top and bottom preferred. if you want something a little more dramatic continue the line outwards from the corner of your eye, think about pictures of egyptian hieroglyphics for insipration lol. after lining your lids choose your shadow, if is darker in nature apply your black liner anywhere your want shadow, this will not only help to keep your shadow in place but also make the color richer. if you chose a lighter shade, use the white liner in the same way for the same reasons.

in finish up use a little of the white liner on the inner corner of your eye and along the outer edge of your eyebrows arch to make your eyes pop.

i bought some amazing eye smudge from hot topic. i went back and bought every color..their colors are vibrant..they have every color of the rainbow and then some..
also mac has pretty awesome colors too but a little higher priced..
