I'm a new military wife. My husband is an Army Recruiter, and this weekend is their Annual Training Conference. Spouces are welcomed to attend classes held durring the weekend and at the end is an Awards Banquet. My husband has to wear his dress blues, and I have a floor length formal black gown to wear. But as far as assorising, what should I do? How formal is this going to be? I love getting really formal, but I don't want to over do it. Can anyone give me a heads up for what to expect?

I have this great dress for an upcoming dance...short & black with a band of gold sequins down the front. But I don't want to buy gold heels to match and I already own a pair of gorgeous strappy silver stilettos. Plus I already own silver jewelry and don't exactly like the idea of buying gold accessories to match this dress. How critical is it that I wear gold with gold??

This is a stupid question, but Im going to a formal for work. Its about 65 degrees out (way above normal) should i wear sandals or high heels with silk black thigh highs (by V.S.)? Im wearing a halter dress. I want to wear the close toed heels but it seems most of the girls are wearing opened toe!

there were three colors blue, grey and black. well i bought the blue hat left the place and noe im miles from that place wishing i would of bought the black hat. i wanted the gray one because i used to have a grey one and i thought it looked great on me. the black one well i would look gangster wich i am no´t . and the blue one well i never had a blue hat before so i feel weird. i thought i wouild look tuff on the black one. please confort me, please, cause3 as it is the place is too far plus i already woar the hat. thank you....
