I just got my hair colored and now my hair feels so dead and dry and stiff and i really regret coloring it. What can i do to help it and make it healthy again?

My hair is a little past my shoulders, it looks GREAT if i straiten it with my Chi Iron, but htat takes well over an hour.
I dont know if a perm would make it worse, however i need an easier way to fix it.. if I curl it it just gets even bigger! If i scrunch it it doesn't look right, and I am out of ideas to fix it
I have a few layers but other then that its just long brown hair, nothing fancy

Ok I guess I should say that I am white skined like a light beige with some light brown frekels. My skin is not oily but I have a problem with my hands, I always touch my face. I really, truly want to look gorgeous. I am a size 4/6, have long, curly brown hair (with frizz), yellowish eyes, a big face, and a good complexion.
