Okay, so first of all, you want makeup to look natural, and just enhance your look. So the MAIN tools in a girls' makeup kit are: mascara, eyeliner, blush (with brush), cover up, trio-eyeshadow, and a stick of lipgloss. Okay, so you are fairskinned, just like me! I wear a blush that looks natural, and not too dark, just looking like I'm flushed from the sun. I wear a sable brown eyeliner (from Rimmel), and I only wear a thin line on the tops and bottoms. If you connect the lines of eyeliner on the top and bottom at the outside corner of your eye, it pulls your eyes apart and makes them look bigger. 2 coats of mascara is a must......if you are fairskinned, use a brown-black mascara, NOT black! that's too dark, and you will look albino....lol :) You didn't say what color your hair or eyes are....but get a color of eyeshadow that comes with three colors....a dark color, a lighter color, and a white shimmer.......the white shimmer you sweep lightly over your brow bone, underneath your eyebrows........it does WONDERS! Trust me! It pulls your eyes up, and makes you look ooooh so youthful.......the dark color, you put lightly on the lid to the crease.......then you put the lighter color on the rest of your eye, up to your eyebrow, then over top of that, put the white shimmer under your brows.........occasionally for special occasions, I"ll put the darker color on a Q-tip, and i'll just put the thinnest line underneath the eyeliner on my bottom eyelid from the edge of your eye to about halfway under your eye.....it does WONDERS! I love it.......finish off your look by using cover up to get rid of big and obvious blemishes, don't cover up your freckles, they make you who you are..... :) If you have red hair, or auburn hair, I suggest getting a lipgloss that is clear with gold sparkles.......warmer brown tones........if you have black hair, or dark brown.....or blonde....I suggest clear gloss with silver sparkles, or just clear.......Hope this helps :)

The best thing is to start with just a couple of things like a foundation and some mascara or something.
Make an appointment with a department store, like Boots or Debenhams they will make you up and help you with what is best for your complexion and skin colouring etc.... You are not obligated to buy, get a list of what you like and you can always get them bit by bit as make up can be expensive.

Go sign up for a makeup lesson at a beauty salon. The more expensive places have beauty consultants. Or buy a makeup book, not an outdated one. There is SO much to learn about makeup and washing your skin, etc. So many techniques, etc.

im only 14 years old, but i know quite a lot about make up, so hopefully i could give you a bit of advise.
first off all i would use a good quality moisturiser and gently rub this in to your skin. leave this for @ leats 5 minutes before applying makeup.
1) use a good quality foundation that matches your skintone for the base, but dont put too much on as you could turn orange! a good tip on how to tell weather your orange or not, is to do your makeup where the out door light shines in, so you can see the true colour of your face.
next i would use a light powdered foundation just to take the shine off your face, but again remember not to cake it on.
2) now i would frame your eyes with a black mascara. just wipe the mascara along your eye-lashes as though your stoking them with the wand. do the same with the bottom lastes, but its a good idea to have cotton buds to hand if any mascara goes under your eyes. if this does accour, just dampen the cotton bud and run under your eye to clear up any access mascara.
3) next, use a light coloured eyeshimmer, such as a cream to make your eyes stand out more, but if you prefere to leave your eyes blank, then do so.
4) now take a black eye-liner to run along the top of your eyes. dont put the eyeliner on the inside of your eyes as this makes them seem much smaller-which isnt a good luck, instead use a white eye liner to go alone the inner rims of your eyes as this makes eyes appear much more wider.
5) use a very very light blushser to highlight your cheekbones. if your not very sure where to apply it, then smile and the apples of your cheeks is where you put it, just gently blend the blusher in then with your middle and index finger.
6) now apply a suttle lip cream/gloss, to your lips (but not lipstick as it is so out) if you have thin lips, use a light brow lip pencil to lightly make your lips look fuller and bigger. if you want leave your lips nude, but what ever you do remember less is more!!
i really hope my make up advise helps, but also remember practice makes perfect, so keep trying and dont give up.
just remember if a girl of 9 can apply make up (which is the age i started wearing it) then any one can
good luck!

Go to the Prescriptives counter at a dept. store. They can match your skin tone exactly and make you up using the best shades to flatter your skin. It is a free service but you can buy some of their products afterward.

I would try a little eye liner and a light bronzer on the cheek bones and a light shimmering eye shadow

start with a pink blush, golden eyeshadow, mascara and a lipstick in between pink and red. Then once you've done that for a while you can move to more complex stuff such as: sealer, foundation, eyeliner, ECT.

you should probably use just a little bit of eyeliner, light color eye shadow, maybe a brown mascara and some foundation to cover up your face.
