Go to a beauty supply store and get a packet of thick conditioner (usually only a buck or two) and take a hot shower (the heat opens the hair cuticle), then apply the conditioner all over your hair and put a plastic bag over your hair, then a towel over that. Let it sit like that for about an hour, then rinse your hair with as cold of water as you can stand (the cool closes the cuticle). It's not going to be an instant fix, but it will defiantly help!! When you take a normal shower, wash your hair and apply the conditioner first thing, then let the conditioner sit until you are ready to get out of the shower then rinse. Good luck!
ps-Don't use stuff like hot oil or mayonnaise, they just ruin your hair more, and try NOT to blow dry your hair.

Hi, you can do all sorts of things like use mayonaise, or leave olive oil on overnight. Bear in mind how oil stains the pillow case and use an old one.
There are lots of conditioners on the market that are just for dry and damaged hair that has been coloured, they will help a bit.
If you want to make the olive oil effective use a warm towel to help absorbtion. Good luck.
Nothing will make it spring back exactly as it was but this may help a bit.

Obviously, the hair color that you used damaged your hair. That said, change the brand (to Garnier Nutrisse or Loreal Excellence) and use a heavy duty conditioner like Loreal Nature's Therapy conditioner to condition your hair. I also suggest that you buy a serum called Kerastase Oleo-Relax. This serum does wonders in reviving damaged hair and maintaining the hair in a great condition. You use two drops of this on your wet hair and another couple of drops on your dry hair. Your hair will feel so silky that you will forget about all the damage. This product is expensive but it is worth the price.
