Ok i died my hair Intense Auburn yesterday and it turned a purplish color? Is there a way to make my hair the right color instead of dying it? My picture day is in 2 days and i dont want to have purple hair in my pictures. Please help!

to moisturize the body (NOT face):
plain jojoba oil
plain vitamin E oil
plain avocado oil
plain shea butter
any other plain oil (which?)

do any of those moisturizers work well, or better than a lotion? (i have reservations about using mineral oil [same as baby oil / gel], which is supposed to just sit on top of the skin and not really absorb.)

I just had my waist-length hair cut by my long-time stylist (of about 15 years). I gave him only four directives before he began: Make it age-appropriate, flattering, easy to maintain, and no coloring. The resulting cut is just OK and not the transporting experience I'd hoped for. While it's true that the new style's unfamiliarity may be adding to my unhappiness, it's just not flattering. In fact, it's the way my mother-in-law wears her hair.

If you were me, would you live with it, call the stylist and tell him the situation, or make an appointment with someone new?

And if you suggest revisiting the stylist, would you expect that I would have to pay again?

I have naturally curly hair, and once I did a reverse perm to chemically straighten my hair....now I can't remember how to do it.
Any suggestions?

Ok, t.w is going to be warm about 85 degrees, and for school i want to wear something cute, so i decide to wear Hollister polo (gray),skirt( black small poca dots and gray), black flip flop, my hair is going to be down and straigth and no jewerly.

I've come to notice that lotion seems to just be a thicker ("filler") substance that contains oil anyway, but companies seem to use the lotion as a vehicle to get the oil to absorb into the skin. Or is that theory wrong? Will PLAIN oil (such as Vitamin E or avocado or jojoba) absorb better, or just sit on top of the skin, like petroleum jelly does?
(I've heard that this is what mineral oil [i.e. baby oil] does too...)
