I'm looking for a belt alternative and like those waist adjuster straps that come on some shorts and pants. Where could I find those online so I could sew them on pants that I have? Thanks!

Why not just get some cute suspenders,...
They come in lots of colours and patterns just for girls and women.

If you're going to be sewing anyhow, why not just take a dart into each of the hip pockets? It makes the pants look tailor fitted and the only expense is the thread.

I think you can make that with a little elastic, buttons, and scissors. They seem pretty simple, but normally they're hidden inside the waistband. Do you pants have a doubled waistband?
