to moisturize the body (NOT face):
plain jojoba oil
plain vitamin E oil
plain avocado oil
plain shea butter
any other plain oil (which?)
do any of those moisturizers work well, or better than a lotion? (i have reservations about using mineral oil [same as baby oil / gel], which is supposed to just sit on top of the skin and not really absorb.)

You are very on top of it. Vitamin E oil is great for your skin. I have found shea butter to clog pores, along with avocado oil. The molecular structure of pure jojoba oil is very good for the skin. The molecules are very tiny, so they don't clog your pores.

I've tried all of your suggestions and found that Vitamin E and Shea Butter work the best. Another really good moisturizer is Olive Oil (use sparingly).

I've used plain jojoba oil and plain shea butter and they both work wonders :)
I also recommend a lotion called "Bag Balm"..it sounds weird but farmers used to use it and its awesome!

I really don't want to take any kind of rise with my body i just use baby oil its the best.

No I have never tried any of those body moisterizers,but I do know that I have a body loition called shea butter.....wait that's one you said......sorry!So yes I have tried that!Ok well all I need to tell you is that it is very soothing and it composes you!(Composes mean that it kinda relaxes you...very relaxed.)
