It's a creepy style of dress and I wish it would go away.

Most goths are good, kind people. The school shootings are not done by goths, they're done by messed up kids who look "goth." Within the gothic community, the extreme non-violence of goths, to the point of running away from any fight, is a well know fact, and is often made fun of.
Being goth has nothing to do with what clothes you wear or music you listen to, it is a way of thinking and seeing the world. The clothes that goths wear and the music that goths listen to is just a reflection of that mindset. Goths see that there is extreme pain and evil in the world, along with the good. Instead of condemning it or ignoring it, goths accept these things as a part of life and try and enjoy the good along with the bad, since they can't stop the bad from happening. They are not obsessed with death, they just accept it as an inevitability. They do not try and cause more pain in their (or anybody else's) lives, since there is plenty to start with. Goths tend to be kind, intelligent, non-violent, emotional, and artistic.

i would never be goth. but goth ppl(well most of them) r not creepy. Goth is not just fashion, but also has to do with personality and music. Some gothic ppl are creepy b/c they talk to satan or do witchcraft, but most are cool and just look different on the outside.

When I see people dressed in Goth, I always wonder how many times they were sexually assaulted before age 8.

i wouldn't want to look like that, but if someone does, that doesn't necessarily mean they are going to go shooting up schools...
