I put hair remover on my legs and I think I left it on too long because I got a stinging feeling and when I took it off,my legs were red!!! HELP! How to I reduce the redness? At home remedies or products I can use?

I have tried sevral makeup brands - currently using Neutragena Oil Free Blemish Control foundation - and it only causes me more break-outs. Now I am dependant on the makeup just to hide the extra pimplage ... what can I use to cover and clear at the same time??

because they say that waxing is painless and my wife cannot take it. so if waxing really hurts then mabye epilators hurt. if you can please compare it to waxing so i understand the pain scale.
