I'm a straight bloke and was wondering which ear is the correct one to get pierced? Left or right?

I'm a guy who have little long hair almost sholder...
my hair is not really curly or weavy but that's annoying because it's almost straight so when i dried it it always come out straight but after a while it shart to curling

any girls has some technique,...

without doing the hair straightening what should I do, or is there any tips when I use a hair dryer or whether not use it...

I recently got my cartilage peirced with a needle. It hurts terribly when bumped and sometimes just hurts for no reason. Sometimes it doesnt hurt at all and other times i wish i had never gotten in pierced. i got it pierced about 5 months ago. Is all that stuff normal? I mean duh there will be pain when you get a needle shoved through your ear..but still...Is it infected?
