Well, it all depends on what kind of brown your eyes are. If they are light brown then green and gold would make your eye brighter. If your eyes are a darker brown then you want to use pink and peach colors. All eyeshadow looks better if you use eyeliner, use brown eyeliner for the top lid and black for the bottom lid. The black eyeliner will make your eye look a little smaller but more intense. When you put mascara on... Well there are two ways depending how you want them to look. If you want your eyelashes to look full and thick you want to apply on the bottom 3/4 of the lashed (not the tips). And if you want thin aligned lashes you would have to comb them first and using a little bit of lotion (careful with that) then apply from root to tip of lashes.

Your skin tone is more important than your hair and eye color. You need to figure out if you are a cool or a warm. The way you do this is to first drape warm colors in front of you-cream, brown, yellow, orange, etc. Does your face brighten, or do you look washed out. Then try the cool colors: pink, blues, black, white. Again, do you look washed out or does your face brighten. Try this, you will be surprised how easy it is. Then, when you buy cosmetics you buy the appropriate colors for your skin tone. If you are cool, you wear cool colors, and if you are warm you wear warm colors. There are neutrals that look good on almost anyone. Most cosmetics are labeled as warm/cool/ or neutral. Then, from your spectrum of colors, just pick what you like. They will always look good.

I have brown eyes as well. Aren't they great? Oh and i also have brown hair. I find that purple works well at bringing out the color in brown eyes. Other colors that are good are golds, browns, greens...hey with brown eyes you can almost wear any color. Good luck!

Whenever I was doing makeup for my friends, I always used a nice purple shade with brown eyes. Every person that I've done makeup for kept the shades I used on them.
Don't use a dark purple...a sparkly dark lavender will work fine. Apply to the outside corners of your eyes, in a triangle shape. It'll look great!

Because we have neutral colouring, we can wear pretty well any eye make up colour we want and look fabulous. Just avoid pastels if you have olive skin, and go for deeper colours. Copper, green, purple, and dark blue are all good choices. Blend well and use the darker colours in a thin line like eye liner. Black eye liner makes brown eyes stand out.

Khaki green brings out the warm brown in the eye. Layer it over a neutral brown/beige.

Stick to purple hues and some champage for highlights below the eye bone.
The lighter color on your lid, the more dramatic the effect.

One thing about having brown hair and eyes you can do about anything. Play a little with all different colors but please do not try to match your clothes...that went out in the 80's
