First of all, don't squeeze it. It is just common sense not to screw around with a painful piercing, the more you touch it the worse it will be.
Secondly, do NOT ever put neosporin on it. (or any topical antibiotic). Read the label (apparently peopel dont do that anymore), neosporin is for surface scratches only, it gives a clear warning that you should never use it on a deep or puncture wound (and something going clear through your ear is definately a deep wound). What neosporin does is cause the surface to heal, it doesn't do anything to deep cuts. It will actually make matters worse, because you will heal any surface abrasions, and that will just trap infection inside.
And, in case other people have responded in the time it took me to type this. DO NOT do anything they suggest either. The only safe course of action is to see a professional. A doctor or a liscensed piercer (a friend who has a piercing or somebody who read a book is not a professional. see a REAL professional). Anybody who claims that your ear is or isn't infected doesn't know what they are talking about. I worked at a piercing shop for several years, and I can tell you from firsthand knowledge that I have seen A LOT of weird stuff, and I can promise you that with all the variations of puss, pain, and oozing that exist, there is NO way to ever be sure that a piercing is or isnt infected without first seeing it. You can never "describe" everything, no matter how good you try. Get a professional to take a close look and tell you what they think. That is the best advice you will get on here.
Remember that people online are not always accurate in what they tell you, and body piercing is essentially a controlled wound. It requires proper medical care and, when necessary, check-ups. Stop into the piercing shop or see a doctor, they are the best people to tell you what is happening with your ear.

I have peirced my cartilage like 4 times and when I have it is usually sore for months. I don't know if it is because it possibly hit a nerve or what. It doesn't hurt now though and it has been 3 years. If it is infected it will be red around the peircing and possiblly leak fluid. It may also be warmer in that place on your ear to the touch. If you don't have any of these symptoms then it most likely isn't infected.

When I got my cartilage it hurt for about 4.5 months. I would wake up in the middle of the night crying because I accidental turned on that side.
Is your ear still really red? Is there a bump on either side? If you squeeze it, does pus come out? Is it black? Do you regularly clean it?
It could be infected if you answered yes to some of these questions. If you're still concerned, go back to the parlor and have them check it out.
My girl friend said hers hurt for a while too. It could just be the shock of everything.

I've had the cartilage of my ear pierced for several years now, and yes, it does hurt at random times when I lay on it or brush against it and other times it doesn't...I can pull at the hoop and it doesn't feel bad at all. I'm not sure if your ear is infected, but maybe you should have a doctor take a look at it and in the meantime, keep the area of your ear where it's pierced clean.

I'd say from the sound of it its infected, this same thing happened wen i got my ear peirced, i had to take mine out, as it didnt clear up even though i was cleaning it everyday with disenfectant, but if you start cleaning it, take out the ring, soak it in dettol or something, and clean your ear, then put the earring back in carefully and clean everyday, day and night, and if the problem persists, take it out, its not worth the pain, you can always get it done again later wen its cleared up

that's fullyyt a piercing, can't you wait till your 16? you may want to damage you father and mom emotions in case you bypass at the back of their backs. No i doesn't damage. there is extra of a hazard of your ears getting contaminated in case you get it pierced with a gun, that's healthier to get it finished with a needle (scary i understand) even if it truly doesn't damage, for a chop up second it hurts a tiny bit yet then the ear is going numb. Gok Wan has stretched ear lobes, so till your planning to stretch your ears, i'd bypass for the stud. good success on inspite of you choose.

It is probably infected. Clean it everyday with rubbing alcohol, and put Bacitracin on it everyday, as well. It should be back to normal fairly soon. =]
