Sorry to post so many questions not pertaining to photography, but someone must really hate me. You see, I posted on a question titled, "Can a photo technically be called a work of art?" I posted "Are you serious? Really, are you...?" And now, my answer is gone. Am I freaking out, or is someone out to get me? With this, and the fact that someone reported my snow question, I think someone really wants to get on my nerves.

Just so no one can say this does not relate to photography, "What do you think of my Photos?" http://www.flickr.com/photos/59181982@N00/

I'm scared... ;)

Well, I guess it's illegal on Answers to post pictures of snow. Here is a question, why the hell did I get a violation e-mail? For what? Here is the e-mail:

My sister and I are wanting to set up our own studio for taking our kids' pictures. We both just got our own Nikon d40x's for Christmas (yes - we were spoiled!). My sister is looking at actual photography studio kits on ebay.....and from what I can tell, other than possibly a slave flash on our camera with a possible diffuser - all we would need are regular lights to take away the shadows in the back......
Would this work? or do we "need" to get the umbrellas, stands, lights, etc. What's the cheapest way to start this out - while getting good quality pictures?

So me and the family plan on heading downtown to see the lighting decorations. I'm not too sure what to expect other than Dark skies and bright displays. I know that's vauge but it's really all the info I can give. Any advice? I'm using a Canon EOS Rebel K2 film camera (keeping it old school). I do have a tripod, as I believe I'll be needing one. But any other advice you can give me?

Will a $15 tiffen UV filter at all make the quality of the picture worse. I do not care about the fact that it is a UV filter I just want something to protect the glass, but will this cheap filter at all make the quality of the picture worse? Also just wondering do you think I'll need a filter with this lens: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/247091-USA/Nikon_2137_Normal_AF_Nikkor_50mm.html#

Because the glass goes on past wear then lens start. thanks

I need a Web site that will host photos so customers can come and order them and the web site prints them, carges and ships them to the customer. Customizable price lists and such. FOR FREE is the key word

I usually take my digital photos to walmart and have them printed off the disk, but I waste a lot of disks. I don't use the memory card because I usually edit the photos after I take them. What would be a cheaper and easier way to get them printed?

I have my own printer, but the store has better quality.

I think you can tell the type of photographer most of the time by the camera bag colour and type do you think this is also?
Press - Black
bird watcher - brown
semi pro - green or blue
are we groomed to act in a style to fit in? the bag has nothing to do with the photos?

I have a number of 50 year old family photographic negatives. I purchaced an Epson Photoscanner (which scans negatives) to scan these. Unfortunately the negatives do not fit into the film holder and I have no choice but to scan them in the negative, then attempt to reverse the negativity using one of the photo programmes.
Any suggestions for doing this would be most gratefully received

I so want to take good photographs of my ball jointed doll, and saw great photos over flickr, and I think I read somewhere about using styro, and those almost clear plastic bags (whitish and almost transparent bags).

How do I use them? Like where should I place them and what are they for?

I see a lot of offers to make custom online digital photo books--for example on Snapfish, MyPublisher, Shutterfly, Kodak Gallery, etc. All the products seem similar so I'm wondering if there's a company doing this for them on the back end. I would like to order 100-200 of these books (that many copies of the same book) and am looking for the best possible price. Does anybody know?
