Sorry to post so many questions not pertaining to photography, but someone must really hate me. You see, I posted on a question titled, "Can a photo technically be called a work of art?" I posted "Are you serious? Really, are you...?" And now, my answer is gone. Am I freaking out, or is someone out to get me? With this, and the fact that someone reported my snow question, I think someone really wants to get on my nerves.

hhaaha...yeah ANSWERS has been uptight and rude lately..I've gotten a few violation emails for stupid things when others are swearing in every post they make that has nothing to do with anything...

I posted a follow-up to Lidy's Q about the real picture of me, showing my actual eye. It was deleted within about 5 minutes.
Some people are no fun at all.
Yahoo! has broadened the powers of certain users (including me, frankly) to delete questions or answers immediately. This is based on a profile that they develop of the user over time. If they get complaints about Q's or A's being unfairly or improperly deleted, they WILL modify the user's profile and take away the "immediate delete" ability. So, if you think your question or answer has been deleted unfairly (etc), please DO respond to the violation notice you have received. State your reasons why you think your submission should not have been deleted. Don't expect a personal reply and don't sweat losing two stinking points, but do contribute to the profile of users who may be deleting answers vindictively once they realize that they have that power.
I only remove an answer if it is an outright attack on another member and/or if it contains excessive (in my opinion) profanity. I won't report 98% of the clever little substitutions people use for profane words, but I WILL report it if someone is merely answering questions to suggest what part of their anatomy your mother could describe from memory. You now what I mean. They are usually members who just joined that say and set out to spread as much obscenity throughout Yahoo! Answers as quickly as they can, knowing full well that they will be kicked out one more time. They'll just make up a new name and join again for 8-12 hours until they get kicked out again. You know. Sicko's and freakaziods.
You'll be lucky if you stalker is sleeping and this Q remains here for a day, since it doesn't actually have anything to do with photography, but I DO feel that this type of community discussion is appropriate. Why bother answering questions here if you can not develop a sense of community?

Someone here is a real spoilsport. I got tired of all the "Am I pretty/hot?" questions, so I posted the question "Am I hot?", linking to a face in a skillet, made of eggs and sausages. It got pulled. Yet many questions not pertaining to photography at all get to stay. It's not fair!
I like Broken Window and Snow on Leaves. Nice work!

Yep I've have a violation message just cause I wasn't part of some clique over in the "business" section and there's some prat who can't seem to get it in his head that there are different subcategories in the auto racing section and get's all ugly when I draw attention to dumb posts in the wrong category....(there seem to be a lot of fatfingered nascar folks). Anyway - do as Antoni says and block some of the nutters and hang in there.
Terisu your eggs and sausage was so funny it was a photo why shoudl it be pulled....out of the frying pan into the fire huh.

No, you're not going crazy....I used to answer a lot of questions in this Photography section until I and another fellow-answerer had one really rude and hateful person start posting nasty replies directly aimed at the two of us. I just stopped answering and asking for a while or just answered my contact's questions instead.
I haven't heard anything since so I guess they became bored with no one to slander anymore and moved off to find another category to harrass.

What a jerk, I hope who did it burns! anyways pertaining to your photos I really liked the snow on leaves it was beautiful! Of course a picture can be a work of art, most people think that only something we create with our own two hands like a painting is a work of art but for those of us that can't do things like that taking beautiful photos can be a work of art and if you can take such beautiful photos then you are definately talented, and I am glad you don't stick to just taking pictures of people, taking pictures of nature is great too. Keep up the good work!

Dude look at how some people answer questions, the idiots block them. here are some starters theres drag, rit, and others, start blocking people now or it will only get worse.
For every good person here theres at least one uptight loser that brings their personal problems here. Many are totally without humour and some are just plain nasty. They are cowards - they wouldn'ty have the courage to report you in the real world...........
I had to make my q+a private due to a stalker, sad but there are lots of people that have made poor choices in their lives and think being nasty will make them fell better - it wont it just reinforces their perverted view of the world.
use the old blocko dude - its their so we don't have to put up with those with issues.

Something similar happened to me , i have had a couple of questions get deleted that were in the photography section . I really like your nature shots.

That is a little unusual. I have never had an answer deleted.
Who knows. They seem to have tightened security tonight. Give it a few hours...I am sure it will get back to normal.
An answer I submitted that had a link to Photobucket wasn't even allowed to be posted. First time I have ever seen that!

I got two questions deleted (never and answer of which I am aware) and they referred to photography, yet the "Am I hot" and other ridiculous questions remain.
Just don't get your knickers in a twist over it.
