I so want to take good photographs of my ball jointed doll, and saw great photos over flickr, and I think I read somewhere about using styro, and those almost clear plastic bags (whitish and almost transparent bags).

How do I use them? Like where should I place them and what are they for?

Styro might work but it is very opaque. Would require very strong lights.

I suggest you use a white sheet or a white T-shirt to diffuse the light. Less likely to melt than plastic.

Stay safe.

Styro was probably used as a reflector
